The Great Moose Migration is a 17.7 km marathon swim from Arrow Rock Dam to Lucky Peak Dam in Idaho (Dam2Dam).

The race, founded by Oscar ‘Moosie’ Williamson, is now in its fifth year.

Anna Megale and Brigitta Gruenberg went 1-2 in the 11-mile swim with Tommy Schwartz finishing as the fastest man.

The Great Moose Migration is a swim that Moosie wanted to do for himself in 2012. The idea came about because triathlons usually have shorter swims and Moosie likes the swimming the best.

As do others.
