The Caramoan 10K Swim Challenge was held in the Philippines on August 21st.
“Until last year, our country had no more than 3 to 4 open water races every year, but the number of participants in each race barely exceeded the 100 swimmers,” explains Betsy Medalla. But growth has come quickly. “Last August we had over 300 swimmers registered for the Caramoan 10K Swim Challenge, and we’re sensing a real shift in the sport.
We are just really excited to share the news about what’s going on on this side of the ocean.“
