With his victory at the 45.8 km 20 Bridges Circumnavigation Swim of Manhattan in New York City in 7 hours 55 minutes, he is one of the youngest athletes to achieve the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming.
In addition to his 20 Bridges Swim around Manhattan Island, Canta swam across the Catalina Channel in 11 hours 13 minutes taking 47,110 strokes across the channel. He swam across the English Channel in 14 hours 30 minutes in 2015.
