The North Shore of Oahu is known for some of the largest surfable waves in the world – and a risky area when the surf is up.

The North Shore lifeguards are responsible for keeping the beach-going public and surfers safe along the coastline at iconic beaches like Ehukai and Waimea Bay. They are now training in innovative ways to keep maintain their strength, speed and stamina.
