One of history’s greatest swimmers in the pool and open water turned 90 years old on May 1st.
Greta Andersen Veress is a 1969 International Swimming Hall of Fame Honor Swimmer and a 1964 International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame Honour Swimmer – and is always quick to smile and remember her long career as an Olympic champion and a pioneer in racing men in marathon swims from Mexico to the English Channel with unparalleled success.
