Winning Isn’t Normal® is a book written by Dr. Keith Bell in 1982 where he motivates readers to do what it takes to win and to make the pursuit of excellence fun. The book includes short easily-read and easily-applied sections to prepare swimmers for optimal performance, taking charge, creating a winning environment, and un-limiting themselves.

The 69-year-old sports psychologist and open water swimming event organizer from Austin, Texas continues training every day and has maintained a streak of over 10,000 days straight without a single missed calendar day of training.
