On the women’s side with world champions from France (Aurélie Muller), Brazil (Ana Marcela Cunha) and the United States (Ashley Twichell) as well as the 2016 Olympic champion Sharon van Rouwendaal and 90 other competitors, it is impossible to predict who will come out on top of the LEN Open Water Cup in Gravelines, France on May 31st.

On the men’s side, there are an overwhelmingly crowded field of 117 swimmers including French world champions Marc-Antoine Olivier and Axel Reymond and the 2016 Dutch Olympic champion Ferry Weertman.

TV channel BeinSports will broadcast the 10 km races live on the LEN (Ligue Européenne de Natation) website (see here). The men will start at 11 am and the women will start at 3:30 pm local time.
