Attila Mányoki will travel from his native Hungary again to compete in the waters of Santorini. The 45-year-old International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame inductee has completed hundreds of open water swimming marathons and has swum twice 90 km non-stop. Manyoki says, “I am coming back to Santorini Experience after my participation last year. My experience was amazing.
I also felt lucky myself over there. It is a unique place; the sea is beautiful with the deep blue color. The organization was fantastic. They do the best for the people. You don’t need to think about anything just enjoy your time on the weekend.
In Santorini you could find everything, excellent hotels, restaurants, foods, friendships and the perfect view to the volcano. It is a great place to spend a perfect weekend on the island and enjoy the sea and many fantastic sportspeople.”
The course is designed by the Greece Olympic coach Nikos Gemelos. “It is with great pleasure to welcome the great Greek athletes, as well as to see the interest of foreign athletes to the 4th Santorini Experience. We offer age group divisions and a separate category for those wearing a full-body wetsuit. Our goal is to satisfy every participant and our perspective is that every year we learn from our swimmers according to their requirements. We adapt to their needs so that the Santorini Experience remains a lifetime experience.”
