133 swimmers will compete in the 10th Annual Kingdom Swim this weekend in Lake Memphremagog, Vermont in Newport and Derby Bays. The events – from 1 mile to 25 km – will last all day between 5:30 am and 4:00 pm.

Race director Phil White explains, “The Border Busters will be leaving Prouty Beach at 5:30 am and will be swimming north across the Canadian border, swing wide around Province Island and the back to the start. Swimmers are travelling [here] from Zurich, Mexico City, Quebec, California, Maine, Florida, Colorado, New Jersey, Maryland, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, South Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Washington DC, Ohio, Texas, Oregon, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
