After 40+ km of head-to-hand racing, several athletes (Olga Kozydub, Silvie Rybárova, Martina Grimaldi, Celia Barrot, Tomi Stefanovski and Alexander Studzinski) misjudged and missed the funnel chute at the 2013 Traversée Internationale du lac Memphrémagog in Lake Memphremagog, Canada. When the pack neared the finish, the lead swimmers realized their mistake and made a U-turn to get back inside the funnel chute and swim – finally – to the finish pontoon
