The USA national team won the team standings at the FINA World Junior Open Water Championships with 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal. Those athletes were presented the 2018 Open Water Achievement Award by USA Swimming.

At the 2018 FINA World Junior Open Water Championships in the Red Sea in Israel, the American athletes competed in the following races:

* Silver medal in the 4 x 1250m 19U Division Open Relay with Erica Sullivan, Brennan Graveley, Kensey McMahon, Michael Brinegar

* Silver medal in the 4 x 1250m 14-16 Division with Chase Travis, Connor Hunt, Mariah Denigan, Jackson Carlile

* Gold medal in the 10 km Boys 18-19 Division by Michael Brinegar

* 4th in the 10 km Boys 18-19 Division by Brennan Graveley

* 5th in the 10 km Girls 18-19 Division by Erica Sullivan

* 6th in the 10 km Girls 18-19 Division by Kensey McMahon (USA)

* Gold medal in the 7.5 km Girls 16-17 Division by Chase Travis

* 6th in the 7.5 km Girls 16-17 Division by Leah DeGeorge

* 8th in the 7.5 km Boys 16-17 Division by Ivan Puskovitch

* 21st in the 7.5 km Boys 16-17 Division by Ethan Heasley

* Bronze medal in the 5 km Girls 14-15 Division by Mariah Denigan

* 18th in the 5 km Girls 14-15 Division by Claire Pophal

* 8th in the 5 km Boys 14-15 Division by Jackson Carlile

* 15th in the 5 km Boys 14-15 Division by Connor Hunt
