Petar Stoychev and Hanna Bakuniak sit on top of the ice kilometer rankings of the International Ice Swimming Association.

Stoychev is an experienced veteran who has long been at the top of open water swimming rankings; Bakuniak is an emerging young swimmer from Poland who is expected to shake up the ice swimming competitions and winter swimming events for years to come.
