Australian Mike Gregory completed four crossings of the English Channel and five Rottnest Channel Swims before he traveled to California to attempt a crossing of the Catalina Channel and complete the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming.

His Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming journey includes the following marathon swims:

2010: English Channel in 12 hours 49 minutes
2011: Manhattan Island Marathon Swim in 8 hours 10 minutes
2013: English Channel in 14 hours 17 minutes
2015: English Channel in 13 hours 35 minutes
2016: English Channel in 12 hours 20 minutes
2018: Catalina Channel in 12 hours 12 minutes 17 seconds

His journey has also included 5 Rottnest Channel Swims in Western Australia and a 22 hour 35 minute 60 km solo swim in Port Phillip Bay in Melbourne, Australia:

2013: Rottnest Channel Swim in 6 hours 3 minutes
2014: Rottnest Channel Swim in 5 hours 50 minutes
2015: Rottnest Channel Swim in 6 hours 44 minutes
2016: Rottnest Channel Swim in 5 hours 57 minutes
2017: Rottnest Channel Swim in 6 hours 8 minutes
