Italian men swept the podium at the Maratón Acuática Internacional Santa Fe – Coronda yesterday with their female teammate standing on top of the women’s podium.

Francesco Ghettini and Barbara Pozzoban won the 45th edition that changed its traditional 57 km course down the Río Coronda from Santa Fe to Coronda in Argentina to a 15 km loop course (6 x 2.5 km loops) within the Port of Santa Fe.

Ghettini just touched out Simone Ercoli while Pozzobon won with a comfortable 6-minute cushion.
