41-year-old Pere Renom is a Scientific Reporter with TV3 from Spain. He crossed the Strait of Gibraltar and reported on his swim from a wide variety of perspectives for a Spanish TV program of science called “Quèquicom” (What-who-how).
Renom became the 298th person to cross the Strait of Gibraltar with a wetsuit. He crossed the Estrecho De Gibraltar in July 2013 in 3 hours 50 minutes.
