13-year-old breaststroker Dashiell Hunter and 12-year-old backstroker Esme Hunter teamed up to win the Family Division at the Fairfield YMCA Mile Swim in Connecticut.

The sibling’s cumulative time was just fast enough to beat 14-year-old Willow Woods and her 55-year-old father Chris for the overall title at Penfield Beach last weekend.

Andy Davis of Penfield Search Partners hosted the charity swim that raises funds to benefit the Fairfield YMCA’s Annual Campaign that was won overall by 34-year-old Jeremy Virgil in 16:24 and Willow Woods in 19:24.
