Kazem Bayram is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and photographer specializing in underwater artwork and visual storytelling. Originally from Iran, Bayram swims and currently resides outside of Paris.
A former Iranian national team kayaker who can hold his breath for long periods, he takes his camera down to the depths with a mask, weight belt, fins, and snorkel to capture the wonders of marine life.
With an increasing amount of competitive open water swimming and solo attempts throughout and across the Persian Gulf, Bayram brings to life and light the world beneath the swimmers and their support crews. His films include Miracles of the Persian Gulf [shown above] and Golfe Persique, Un jardin d’Eden (Persian Gulf or Garden of Eden).
