Christine Jennings gets around the world of open water swimming.
The American with passport has won the BCT Gdynia Marathon in Poland, the Pan Pacific Championships in Canada, the RCP Tiburon Mile in San Francisco Bay, the Traversée Internationale du Lac Mégantic in Canada, the Faros Marathon in Croatia among others. Today, she added the Great North Swim in Windermere, England to her trophy mantle.
In addition to the elite race in the Lake District of England, the Great North Swim offered 1/2-mile, 1-mile, 2-mile and 5 km races over the weekend.
