Legendary Filipino triathlete Frank Lacson and Ingemar Patiño Macarine, nicknamed the Pinoy Aquaman, will swim 10 km from Grande Island, Bataan in Subic Bay to Barrio Barretto in Olongapo City.

The charity swim by the 52-year-old triathlete and the 38-year-old English Channel aspirant will benefit Bicycle Friendly Philippines and to raise funds for victims of cycling accidents.

In the Philippines, Lacson is the pioneer in the sport of triathlon. He has always served as a strong advocate for healthful living and extending one’s potential beyond one’s prime. The marathon swim is just another one of his many exploits. Together with Macarine, they will swim together in a tandem swim.
