“Finally after 10 hours 58 minutes, I had returned to conquer the beast that I had obsessed over for three years…my life changed forever this day…,” recalls Edward Williams this August. Williams was pulled out after 18 miles between Scotland and Northern Ireland on his first attempt at the North Channel in 2014 due to venom overload.
