The World Open Water Swimming Woman of the Year is an annual WOWSA Award that is meant to honor individuals who (1) best embody the spirit of open water swimming, (2) possess the sense of adventure, tenacity and perseverance that open water swimmers are known for, and (3) have most positively influenced the world of open water swimming during the year.
This Audi Q7 e-tron 3.0 TDI Quattro advertisement features one of the nominees for the 2016 WOWSA Award, Nuala Moore. “The Irish Times Newspaper contacted me and asked me to partake in an Audi advertising campaign. [The ad] shows my home and mostly where I grew up swimming.”
The ad clearly captures the joy and passion that Moore has about her chosen niche in the open water swimming community: ice swimming.
