Lexie Kelly At-Home Dryland Workouts During Quarantine

Many competitive swimming pool are closed during the growing coronavirus pandemic. American open water swimmer Lexie Kelly is leading daily online workouts via Instagram Live @SwimOutlet this week. @lexiekellyswim is coaching live at-home dryland workouts every day from 10 am – 11 am California time.

Today, she did the following Cardio & Core dryland workout for SwimOutlet participants:

Exercise #1: 3 sets of IM arm swings – 15 seconds of butterfly + 15 seconds of backstroke + 15 seconds of breaststroke + 15 seconds of freestyle

Exercise #2: 30 seconds of flutter kicks + 30 seconds of streamline holds + 30 dolphin kicks on your back while lying on the floor

Exercise #3: 30 seconds of butt kickers while standing + 30 seconds of jumping jacks (with or without a weighted object) + 30 seconds of high knee jumps

Exercise #4: 30 seconds of squat twists + 30 seconds of plank twists

Exercise #5: 30 streamline jumps + 30 seconds of breaststroke squats + 30 seconds of sprint freestyle

Exercise #6: 30 seconds of side crunches on the left + 30 seconds of side crunches on the right + 30 seconds of streamline crunches

Exercise #7: 30 seconds of plank jacks + 30 seconds of plant taps + 30 seconds of streamline burpees

Exercise #8: 30 seconds of plank shoulder taps + 30 seconds of left threads + 30 seconds of right threads

Exercise #9: 30 mountain climbers + 30 cross-over mountain climbers + 30 bicycles

Exercise #10: 30 plank twists + 30 streamline arch ups + 30 swimmers
