MV Shelley Taylor-Smith is a ferry boat owned by the Public Transport Authority and operated under contract by Captain Cook Cruises on Transperth services on the Swan River in Perth, Western Australia. In February 1997, SBF Shipbuilders of South Coogee was awarded a contract to build a new ferry for Transperth to replace the Princess II. It entered service in 1997 named after 7-time professional marathon swimming champion Shelley Taylor-Smith.

Sydney Ferries are occasionally named after Australian Olympic swimmers that operates in Sydney Harbour. The fleet includes the MV Dawn Fraser, the MV Shane Gould, and the MV Susie O’Neill.
